| How did it go? | |

Our third blind date was held on Friday 29th June. Sherina was late and I had the chance of
having a good chat with Peter, whilst I felt we were both getting anxious.
Peter was quite entertaining, but I didn't fail to notice that old dilemma of men's dating;
"What if she doesn't turn up?"
Fortunately Sherina was only late because when she had asked for the direction, a passer's
by had pointed the finger at the wrong direction.
It was my pleasure to witness the big grins on their faces when they met, and to trouble
them for a few photographs, before granting them back their privacy.
We would like to thanks Metrogusto for everything and for making this an unforgettable
evening for our contestants.

I arrived at Metrogusto late and all flushed out, thanks to my (and some strangers') sense
of misdirections! Luckily, the representative saw the light side of things and when he
quipped 'It's a good thing to keep them waiting', it got me into a tickly mood.
So much so that I found myself laughing throughout the whole date!
Now about the date. Peter was sweet, funny and dare I say this... terribly cheeky! We
chatted, flirted and laughed about a million and one things. I was especially a giggly
bundle of nerves when the photographer was taking pics. I swear I have never giggled
so much in my life! Come on, it was just a wee bit stressful situation! Cute guy,
flashing bulbs and a large audience, I dare you to do better!
Metrogusto itself, was absolutely lovely with its amazing paintings. It felt like I was
dining in an art gallery! The staff was fantastic and the menu even lovelier! So I have
this thing about not ordering the same thing as anyone else on the dinner table and
guess what? Peter ordered the exact things that I wanted. From starter to dessert,
I ended up taking the next best thing on the menu. I insisted.
I started with the most succulent squid, followed by juicy rib eyed steak and ended in
high notes with yummy-licious caramelised cheesecake. Mmmmmm... heaven, you say.
It was all great but I ended up eyeing Peter's sumptious feast in utter jealousy.
It really did not help that he was dangling them infront of my face.
Did I not say he was cheeky?
All in all, the date ended longer than I expected. Time kind of flew by. It was a cool
experience, this blind date thing and Peter made it pretty amazing. But call me nuts, I
have this strange feeling that we are not quite on the same page! He's still a cool guy in
my books and I don't think I'd mind it at all if his cheeky self wants to hang out and
chill as friends. Now that would be, as he aptly put it, 'Classic'! ;)
Thanks again to Restaurant Blind Date for this fab opportunity. I had a good time for sure!
